This little jem is on display outside the Co-op’s newest location in Tempe.
It brightens my day every time I see it!

One of my best girlfriends, Stephanie just moved to Fukui, Japan. She will be teaching English for a year or more! She is dear to my heart and I will miss her greatly. For her going away gift I made her the first installment of a series of mini creations, one for each month she is away. This is November 2009, #1.

I know these have been out for a while, but I just can’t get over how fun they are! If only I used coffee mugs…

On Halloween The Paper Studio in Tempe held their 1st Wayzgoose festival. Chris and I made recycled paper, envelopes, and even used a few of their presses. Oh, I also purchased a little 3×5 letterpress! It’s my first one and I’m so excited to have it! As soon as I print my first piece I will post them here!

This past Saturday night I attended AIGA’s Art Auction at the Bentley Gallery Project. The building itself is gorgeous with exposed brick and high ceilings. The art for silent auction really went for pennies so that part was saddening. Overall a beautiful night spent with special friends and acquaintances. Chris picked up a jem…
